This animated film in Technicolor was made in 1942 in the United States. With this film, the Hungarian filmmaker who had lived and worked for several years in Holland, Georges Pal was sending a message of hope and victory (the famous letter “V” signifying “Victory”) to those who were fighting in Europe at the time.
