After a long race of several dozen kilometres, skiers have to face the jump! Spectacular ski jumps on one of the world’s most famous winter sport arenas in Norway. Peter Elfelt – the official Danish court photographer – placed his camera at the bottom of the run to capture the skiers’ arrival on film.
King Haakon VII of Norway, grandson of King Christian IX of Denmark, attended the championship, which draws thousands of spectators each year.
